Diane von Furstenberg Fall Winter 2025 collection introduces a layered and sharp direction, with every garment calling on the DVF Woman to lead with clarity and strength. This season draws from classic silhouettes while testing new proportions, prints, and textures. The images were shot by Hedi Stanton and styled by Emma Wyman.
The original Wrap Dress returns as a central figure in the collection, cut from DVF’s classic silk jersey. A fuller skirt, exaggerated collar, and pronounced cuffs bring it closer to the design that first defined it. The house places this garment in focus, not as nostalgia, but as a foundation to build upon.

Knitted jacquard suiting follows with precision. Tailored reversible coats lined with faux fur add texture and depth. These designs offer assertive shapes without stiffness. Satin trousers arrive in a fluid, slip-on style. Tweed suits allow ease of movement without losing their structure, bringing together sharp construction and a softer touch. The Virginia Blazer Dress makes its return, while the tailored shirtdress, long favored by Diane herself, remains a consistent piece in this collection.
The collection draws energy from opposites. Chiffon dresses meet tie-neck details, while a smoking jacket comes in both satin and printed knit. Contrast exists in every element. Playful clashes of fabric, such as romantic lace or sheer mesh tulle against pinstripes or plaid, produce a visual push and pull. One piece appears as a two-part look, its chiffon skirt and matte jersey bodice sewn into a single dress using trompe l’oeil design. A hand-beaded wrap dress offers a fresh perspective on eveningwear without sacrificing DVF’s code of glamour.

Prints evolve across the season. Pinstripes shift from their traditional look into soft baby blues and warm chocolate browns on light chiffon. A hidden hand-written mantra lives within the fabric, offering an unexpected personal detail. Reimagined prints form a herringbone structure, while signature fabrics pick up unexpected plaids. The Gingko Fan print, lifted from the DVF archive, takes on new life through a palette of muted neutrals. Leopard spots appear in changing scale across a single piece, creating rhythm and pace.

Party looks take shape through sequins, organza, and hand-applied beading. These elements build pieces for special occasions without excess. Each fabric choice serves a precise visual role, whether through light reflection, transparency, or texture.
Fall 2025 at Diane von Furstenberg leans into contrast, sharp cuts, and deliberate play between structure and softness. With assertive tailoring, unpredictable material pairings, and reinterpreted prints, the DVF Woman takes control of the narrative.
