Maison Mihara Yasuhiro has released the lookbook for its Fall Winter 2026 Eternal Now collection, following its Paris Fashion Week debut at Salle Wagram earlier this year. A poem about aging, memory and disorientation inspired the collection.
LOOKBOOKS
The poem begins with an ordinary train ride. Mihara describes falling asleep, missing his station and gradually losing concern for the destination. Blurred vision changes familiar surroundings, while objects retain emotional force through fragments of memory. He uses that experience to examine how daily life can feel distorted while remaining deeply recognizable.

Misalignment and dissonance shape the tailoring, sportswear, outerwear and accessories. Charcoal suiting, striped shirts, pocket squares and regimental ties introduce formal menswear references, while lavender pinstripes, navy fleece, cognac leather and wide-leg trousers broaden the wardrobe. Broad shoulders, extended sleeves, pooled hems and uneven layers distort familiar garments and connect them to the collection’s themes of aging, memory and changing perception.
Lavender pinstripes, navy fleece and wide-leg trousers bring sportswear into the same wardrobe. Shirts slip from the shoulders, hems fall at uneven lengths and layers create irregular outlines around the body. These details give the clothes an unfinished quality that reflects the collection’s interest in disorientation and changing perception.

Outerwear introduces heavier shapes through quilted leather, generous sleeves and enlarged shoulders. Cognac puffer jackets bring gloss and volume to the darker palette, joined by black shirts, navy pieces and charcoal tailoring. The oversized construction gives familiar garments a worn and slightly displaced character, as though time has altered their original form.
Large eyewear continues the focus on blurred vision, with circular frames and oversized lenses changing the proportions of the face. Shoulder bags hang low against the body, and substantial sneakers extend Mihara’s established footwear language through thick soles and distorted constructions.

Lavender, dusty pink and faded blue soften the darker shades of navy, black and charcoal. Cognac leather adds warmth and texture. Together, the muted colors, loose tailoring and irregular layering connect the clothing to the themes of aging, memory and dissonance that define “Eternal Now.”
