Camper takes a bold step forward, expanding its fashion vocabulary through a partnership with ISSEY MIYAKE, a collaboration that feels both inevitable and thrilling. As someone who has followed both brands for years, I see this as a defining moment: Camper’s creative director, Achilles Ion Gabriel, and ISSEY MIYAKE’s Satoshi Kondo have created something that truly bridges heritage and innovation.
The result is Peu Form, the debut footwear collection from the Camper × ISSEY MIYAKE partnership. It’s a line that doesn’t just nod to the icons – it reimagines them. Drawing from ISSEY MIYAKE’s “a piece of cloth” philosophy, the shoes wrap and drape around the foot with a fluidity that feels organic and utterly modern. Yet, at their core, they remain rooted in Camper’s iconic Peu family, shoes that have always stood for comfort, function, and that unmistakable sense of play. What stands out is how Peu Form embodies both brands’ commitment to originality and responsible design. For Autumn Winter 2025/26, the line comes in two adaptable styles: a slip-on that doubles as a mule, and an ankle boot that hugs the foot like a second skin. Both are soft, flexible, and made with premium Italian leather, sitting on a footbed and outsole that blend comfort with sustainability (20% recycled TPU). The colorways – black, white, Klein blue, and Camper’s signature red – feel both timeless and fresh.
This is also a strong moment for ISSEY MIYAKE, a brand that has always listened to the pulse of its community. With Peu Form, there’s a clear response to what sneaker enthusiasts have been asking for: innovation that doesn’t sacrifice wearability or craft.

Achilles Ion Gabriel sums up the spirit of the project perfectly: “Camper and ISSEY MIYAKE share a strong synergy despite coming from different parts of the world, Mallorca and Japan. Both brands have so much in common: heritage, craft, and a sense of playfulness. The collaboration felt natural. Working with a great designer like Satoshi Kondo has been easy and effortless. The creative process started at our ‘taller’, our workshop, at Camper’s headquarters in Inca, Mallorca, and then we visited ISSEY MIYAKE’s Tokyo offices. I love Japan. Using Camper’s iconic barefoot Peu and ISSEY MIYAKE’s signature ‘a piece of cloth’ concept as a starting point, we explored ways to wrap and drape material around the shoe’s last and the foot. Did you know that Peu means ‘foot’ in the Mallorcan dialect? The final result is Peu Form: a playful, organic design that draws on the heritage of both brands while celebrating our commitment to craft.”
Peu Form launches July 15th in both Camper and ISSEY MIYAKE stores worldwide, selected retailers, and online with with price raging from $399 USD to $530, available in black, white, Klein Blue, and red. Discover more of the Issey Miyake Fall Winter 2025 runway collection.
