UNIQLO introduces its first UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) collaboration with the Pokémon Trading Card Game and the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket app, set to launch on Monday, August 11, 2025. The collection includes a series of T-shirts and sweatshirts featuring Pokémon TCG-inspired illustrations, available for adults and kids. The designs focus on fan favorites such as Pikachu, drawing from the card game’s graphic identity and the digital visuals of the Pocket app.
This collaboration follows earlier popular releases with the broader Pokémon brand, but this edition centers on the specific aesthetic of the Trading Card Game. Characters appear in dynamic, collectible-style illustrations, connecting the nostalgia of the game to everyday wear. The pieces serve as a visual extension of the TCG universe, featuring artwork that reflects both play and collection themes.

To accompany the release, UNIQLO will distribute a special issue of UT magazine in stores beginning August 11. Each copy includes a Pokémon Trading Card Game paper playmat created exclusively for UT. The design showcases Pikachu in the same graphic style used throughout the clothing collection, adding another collectible element to the launch. The reverse side of the playmat includes original interviews with two Pokémon TCG illustrators involved in the project.
The artists behind the featured Slowpoke and Omanyte card illustrations provide insights into their creative process and discuss how they developed the artwork for both the TCG and the UNIQLO collection. These interviews appear only in the UT magazine, offering exclusive content for fans who want more context on the visual identity of the collection.

The full product lineup includes five adult T-shirt designs priced at $24.90 and four adult sweatshirts priced at $39.90, all available in sizes from XXS to 3XL. For children, the collection offers four T-shirts at $14.90 and four sweatshirts at $29.90, with sizes ranging from 110cm to 160cm. Sizes XXS, XXL, and 3XL.
All items from the Pokémon UT Collection will be available in UNIQLO locations and online. The coordinated release of both apparel and UT magazine positions this collection as a crossover between wearable art and collectible media, designed for fans across generations.
