Helmut Lang presents its Fall Winter 2025 lookbook through the lens of photographer Justin Leveritt, distilling the brand’s minimalist codes into a season defined by precision, versatility, and functional detail. Shot in a stripped-back studio setting, the collection’s visuals focus attention on the clothes’ structure and adaptability, with a palette anchored in black, gray, and off-white, punctuated by moody tones of red, chocolate, plum, eggplant, and dark burgundy, as well as subtle patterns.
The collection draws on the energy and adaptability of New York City, translating its constant movement into garments that transition across environments. Sleek lines interact with fluid drapes, while matte finishes sit alongside gentle sheens. The result reflects an urban sensibility that values both architectural tailoring and fluid movement.

Outerwear plays a central role, with the Apex Sculpted Coat as a standout. Crafted from recycled wool, it forms a lean, tailored silhouette that wraps the frame with sharp definition. Another focal design, the Bisected Apex Jacket, combines leather and suede for a textural interplay that adds a rebellious note to its refined shape.
Fluidity emerges in the Sash Maxi Dress, Long Sleeve Scarf Top, and Relaxed Wrap Shirt. Each piece uses lustrous, lightweight fabrics that move easily, offering a different expression of Helmut Lang’s tailored precision. These designs bring an ease of wear that complements the collection’s more structured elements, allowing the pieces to shift between day and evening or work and leisure without losing their visual integrity.

Tailoring remains a central focus throughout, not as rigid formality but as a framework for adaptability. The cuts maintain clean lines while allowing layered combinations that respond to different settings and temperatures. Utilitarian detailing adds function to the form, reinforcing the idea that clothing should serve both aesthetic and practical needs.
Helmut Lang’s FW25 collection is available now through the brand’s official webstore, with prices from $165 to $1,995 USD. The range offers pieces that carry the season’s narrative of structure, movement, and modular design.
