adidas Originals brings two early-2000s franchises back into focus for Fall Winter 2025 season, reintroducing Teamgeist and Megaride for a new generation. The drop ties sport history to street wearability and puts young superstar Lamine Yamal at the center of the campaign.
adidas introduced Teamgeist in 2006 as the design language for the official football and jerseys used at that year’s major summer tournament. Over time, fans adopted the look as a code for style, attitude, and self-expression on and off the pitch. For FW25, adidas updates the signature ’06 cutlines with looser shapes built for today. The apparel line includes neon tracksuits, shorts, T-shirts, hoodies, and additional pieces that carry the unmistakable Teamgeist silhouette into daily rotation.

Megaride returns alongside the apparel with a lineup channeling the vis-tech energy of its original era. The first Megaride introduced adidas’ open-tunnel midsole technology and set a new standard for tech-focused running design. Conceived as a pinnacle concept, its sculpted form helped spark a surge of tech sneakers that drew attention on both streets and tracks. For 2025, the silhouette reemerges in four versions: Megaride OG, Megaride 01, Megaride Ghostride, and Megaride S2, each retaining the signature open-tunnel midsoles and textured mesh uppers while keeping the look fast, futuristic, and lightweight.

The campaign spotlights Lamine Yamal, born in 2007 and already recognized among football’s best. His confidence and on-ball creativity match the Megaride range’s tech-forward look and the swagger that Teamgeist carries from the pitch to the sidewalk. The images and film connect Yamal’s rise with the energy of early-’00s design, reframed for right now.
The Teamgeist and Megaride collection is available now at adidas stores and select retailers.
