adidas and BAPE have joined forces once again, this time for a soccer-inspired collection that channels the Japanese label’s unmistakable style into performance footwear, apparel, and accessories. Former Brazilian football star Marcelo Vieira fronts the campaign, giving the collection an authentic connection to soccer. Known for his attacking skill and creativity during his 15-year run at Real Madrid, Marcelo adds weight to the release as someone who redefined the left-back role.
The centerpiece of the collaboration arrives in the form of two adidas soccer icons: the Predator Elite FT Firm Ground and the F50 Elite Firm Ground. The Predator Elite carries BAPE’s recognizable green ABC CAMO with gold stripes and a shark graphic along the lateral side. Its design includes alternating gold logos on the tongues and camo sockliners, creating a version that stands apart from standard releases. The F50 Elite introduces a gradient upper that shifts from blue to pink, matched with a shark graphic on the medial, printed stars throughout, and alternating sockliners in pink and blue.
The apparel selection pushes the streetwear aesthetic onto the field. Jerseys, shorts, and tights feature ABC CAMO, while a BABY MILO soccer tee brings a playful edge to the mix. Accessories round out the collection with a camo duffle bag and a BABY MILO shoulder bag, offering both functionality and a clear nod to BAPE’s design codes.
For fans who move between performance and lifestyle, the adidas Originals Samba receives a special reworking. Originally built for soccer but long since adopted as a lifestyle staple, the Samba now comes in aniline grained leather with a SKULL STA face replacing the usual suede toe box overlay. On the right shoe, a BAPE STA mark takes the lateral side with adidas’ 3-Stripes positioned on the medial, while the left shoe flips the arrangement. Finishing details include gold foil branding, co-branded camo sockliners, and two colorways: white with black and grey accents or black with white contrasts.
