Façon Jacmin presents its Spring Summer 2026 collection, The Morning After, a story rooted in the familiar haze following a night of celebration. The collection takes inspiration from the annual cocktail hosted at the Wallonie-Bruxelles Délégation, where politicians, artists, media figures, and fashion insiders gather in one place. The next day, hair is undone, makeup smudges across the skin, and silhouettes search for their clothing. From that atmosphere, the new season comes alive with the brand’s signature Belgian ease and an instinctive sense of refinement.
The design language builds on contrasts of energy and exhaustion, where vibrant colors collide with soft pastels. Mirrored effects and trompe-l’œil illusions shift with the eye, evoking those blurred early hours when memory feels fragmented. Fabrics move fluidly with the body, echoing the speed of rushed mornings, a jacket thrown over bare shoulders, or a T-shirt pulled quickly over a dress. Each choice communicates spontaneity while keeping the wearer composed.

Façon Jacmin creates a wardrobe that adapts to fast-moving schedules and unpredictable shifts in routine. The clothes feel chaotic in inspiration but efficient in execution. Pieces remain wearable after long nights, while subtle sporty details inject energy into otherwise refined silhouettes.
The show’s staging amplified the concept through three tableaus. Models awoke across the room, adjusted their makeup, or hurried off as though late for work. The scenes read like contemporary theatre, a reflection of morning rituals observed in everyday life.

Perrier flowed throughout the event, referencing the universal post-party ritual of sparkling water to clear the mind. Belgian-designed Loop Earplugs offered sleek hearing protection, addressing ears still ringing from the night before. Komono sunglasses, with their distinct design, became both a cover for dark circles and a playful signal of resilience.
With The Morning After, Façon Jacmin translated humor and realism into design. The collection drew directly from Belgian sophistication, grounding an aesthetic of everyday chaos in clothing that balances vibrancy, utility, and ease.
