The king of essentials, UNIQLO, joins forces with cult-favourite designer JW Anderson for Fall/Winter 2025, presenting a collection that reimagines cold-weather dressing with a distinctly British attitude. This collaboration delivers countryside classics with a modern city polish, inviting wearers to explore a wardrobe where tradition meets innovation. The result is a lineup that feels both familiar and refreshingly new, packed with colourful knits, field jackets, and utilitarian outerwear rooted in traditional fieldwear.

A standout this season is the Short Jacket, cropped and feminine, powered by PUFFTECH insulation for both warmth and style. Anderson’s take on knitwear is equally compelling: a lambswool bi-colour herringbone crewneck, a knitted polo in blood orange and icy blue, and a full spectrum of sweaters that promise to elevate any winter wardrobe. The collection’s palette is a direct response to the season’s grey skies, introducing buttery yellows, rich mustards, warm rusts, and vibrant blues and reds. These hues offer a playful antidote to the winter blues, proving that cold-weather dressing can be both cheerful and chic.

It’s been a transformative year for Jonathan Anderson. After his much-discussed womenswear debut at Dior’s Spring/Summer 2026 show and a place on TIME 100’s list of the most influential people in 2024, Anderson continues to push creative boundaries. His latest work with UNIQLO is no exception, blending functional design with that unmistakable Anderson quirk. The collection is designed for real life, think padded coats with hunting-jacket details, corduroy trousers with workwear pockets, and a massive poncho versatile enough for both outdoor adventures and cozy nights in.

Anderson describes the lineup as “updating the British winter wardrobe with ease of styling and universal playfulness.” The inclusion of new warm colours for signature denim and Oxford shirts reflects a commitment to both tradition and reinvention. Each piece is thoughtfully constructed, with a focus on comfort and versatility that underscores UNIQLO’s reputation for accessible essentials.

The campaign, shot by photographer Alessio Bolzoni, brings the collection’s spirit to life. Fashion editor and stylist Benjamin Bruno curates looks that highlight the interplay between classic silhouettes and contemporary details. Hair stylist Kim Rance crafts effortless styles that complement the relaxed yet polished vibe. The cast, Felix Cheong-Macleod, Mahalia Celeste Henderson, Shantae Leslie, and Yonas Fernandez Gamio, embodies the collection’s inclusive, modern energy.

Accessories also play a key role, with bags, hats, and knitwear rounding out the collection. From tote bags and backpacks to baseball caps and field hats, every detail is considered. The layering of ponchos, coats, and vests creates a sense of depth and practicality, while the playful use of colour and texture keeps the collection feeling fresh.
