
PUMA and San San Gear join forces once again for a concept-driven collaboration that examines what modern gear means in both function and form. Building on their 2024 partnership, the brands present a unified collection anchored by two experimental sneakers, the Talon and the Mostro Caged, alongside apparel designed for adaptability in the urban environment.
The Mostro Caged represents San San Gear’s reinterpretation of one of PUMA’s most daring silhouettes. The shoe replaces its original strap closure with a half-covered, asymmetrical lacing system, giving it a more structural and technical feel. The design maintains the athletic edge of the original Mostro while emphasizing the raw practicality that defines San San Gear’s approach. The Talon continues that narrative with a similarly dark tonal palette and progressive shape, offering a sculptural form rendered entirely in black.


Apparel in the collection builds on the same visual and functional codes. Constructed through precise cut-and-sew methods, the pieces include a jacket, pants, and shorts with purposeful detailing that merges comfort with function. A knitted long-sleeve top features anatomical cut lines along the torso and sleeves, while accessories such as a bag and a tie-off cap expand the collection’s modular sensibility. Each piece reflects the brands’ shared interest in creating gear that adapts to changing conditions without compromising form.


The campaign places the collection within an urban setting, echoing the textures and tempo of daily city life. Towering architecture, delivery routes, and industrial tones frame the visuals. San San Gear and PUMA present gear designed for transition, built to handle shifts between environments and the demands of contemporary living.
