Reverie by Caroline Hú presents its Spring Summer 2026 collection as a study of perception and transformation. The designer examines how subtle illusions can reshape the familiar and free form from invisible expectations.
Caroline Hú draws inspiration from everyday life, observing how unspoken social rules often dictate how people present themselves. She responds with structure that transforms and materials that deceive the eye. Volume, transparency, and texture serve as tools of reinvention, turning clothing into a visual experiment that questions the limits of convention while maintaining precise craftsmanship.

Layers of tulle and floral textiles derived from Hú’s oil paintings return this season, adding fluidity and light. Structure replaces ornamentation as the focus. A skirt becomes a dress when its silk organza or tulle lining lifts to form the top portion, revealing movement within its construction. Shirt dresses invert so that collars form hems, transforming familiar shapes into unexpected compositions.
Surface and texture play central roles in this narrative. A tailored bar jacket features black and floral hand embroidery that dissolves into white cotton smocking, producing a visual transition between ideas. Hú revisits her patchwork technique, layering cotton jersey with white and blue tulle to create a textured relief. Floral prints are cut into small squares and appliquéd into pixel-like patterns, while grey organza with pink pintucks gives the illusion of delicate bows. Jersey tops mix athletic materials with corset-inspired details, merging comfort with precision.

Accessories continue the theme of illusion. Knee-high nylon stockings carry heat-pressed imagery with a trompe l’oeil effect. Oversized leather tote bags in pink, blue, white, and black feature perforated lace-like details and multiple outer pockets, balancing function and refinement.
The collaboration between Reverie by Caroline Hú and adidas Originals continues this season with the CLOT Taekwondo by Caroline Hú. The shoe draws on the discipline of martial arts and the elegance of ballet. Built on the low-profile adidas Originals Taekwondo silhouette, it features slim straps and a smooth upper embossed with subtle references to adidas heritage, including the signature toe design and three stripes. The shoe appears in three colorways, triple black, soft pink, and off white.
During Paris Fashion Week, Reverie by Caroline Hú presented the collection with a performance by choreographer Emma Portner. Her movement translated the visual themes of illusion and change into dance, reinforcing the collection’s rhythm of control and release.
