adidas and Pharrell Williams introduce the Virginia Adistar Jellyfish in Triple Black through a New York–exclusive launch on December 4 and 5. The release begins at Billionaire Boys Club in Soho on December 4, followed by adidas 5th Avenue on December 5. Ahead of the drop, the city noticed an “Imported from Virginia” delivery truck near major landmarks and popular locations, signaling the arrival of the newest addition to Pharrell’s ongoing work with adidas.
SNEAKERS
The sneaker takes cues from the jellyfish and applies those references to a sculptural reinterpretation of the Adistar line. The exaggerated midsole references the fluid tentacles of the marine creature, while the logo reflects its distinct form. A layered mesh upper supports exterior accents that create depth and futuristic visual movement. Glow-in-the-dark elements bring a technical feature that connects the aquatic concept with night visibility.

Pharrell ties the sneaker to his personal universe through custom “Jellyfish” and discreet “VIRGINIA” markings on the insole and tongue. The shoe mixes performance roots from the archival Adistar with a new lifestyle direction, guided by sculptural proportions and conceptual design choices. The Triple Black finish anchors the look while keeping focus on the silhouette’s dimensional form.

The design frames the Jellyfish as an object that draws influence from both marine life and city environments, with a form that shifts between streetwear function and sculptural experimentation. Pharrell and adidas introduce the pair at $300 with limited quantities available exclusively in New York before the global release planned for 2026.

New York receives two access points for the early launch. adidas 5th Avenue holds an in-store raffle from December 3 at 10AM EST through December 4 at 10AM EST, with select winners contacted by phone for pickup on December 5. Billionaire Boys Club Soho opens its doors on December 4 at 10AM EST for a first-come, first-serve release while supplies last.
