Adidas launches its Spring Summer 2026 football boots with updated Predator and F50 models, supported by a campaign that asks players to define their playing identity. The concept places control and chaos in direct contrast, using two of the game’s most visible young figures, Jude Bellingham and Lamine Yamal, as opposing reference points.

The Predator Elite Fold-Over Tongue focuses on command and accuracy. adidas equips the boot with NANOSTRIKE+, a redesigned mesh upper that combines softness, light weight, and integrated grip zones. The fold-over tongue creates a consistent striking surface, while the STRIKEFRAME soleplate supports traction and rotational agility. POWERSPINE runs along the sole to reinforce midfoot stability during shooting. Visually, the boot pairs a red forefoot with a white midfoot and heel, finished with the three stripes that recall the Predator Precision shape.

The F50 Elite takes a different direction, built for speed and instinctive play. The new colorway starts with a lucid lemon heel and transitions into white through the forefoot. A FIBERTOUCH upper delivers lightweight support with cushioning applied selectively. adidas adds SPRINTWEB 3D texture to assist ball contact, while the COMPRESSIONFIT tunnel tongue locks the foot in place. SPRINTFRAME 360 supports acceleration and directional changes.
The campaign stages Bellingham and Yamal as opposing forces. Bellingham represents control through rhythm and authority on the pitch, while Yamal represents chaos through instinctive attacking play and risk-taking. The narrative guides players toward a personal decision between Predator and F50.

According to Sam Handy, General Manager of Football at adidas, the campaign deliberately centers on a long-running debate within football culture. He explains that the boots represent opposing forces within the modern game, speed and control, and that the brand aims to give players a clear way to express how they approach football, from grassroots level to professional competition.
Bellingham describes the Predator as a tool that allows him to dictate tempo and manage decisive moments on the ball. He connects the boot to his preference for composure, timing, and control when shaping play and delivering passes under pressure.

Yamal frames the F50 as a platform for risk and unpredictability. He links the boot to confidence in taking chances, breaking patterns, and acting instinctively within structured systems, encouraging players to trust those moments when opportunity appears.
On the pitch, Predator will feature on players including Jude Bellingham, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Pedri, Alessia Russo, and Aitana Bonmati. The F50 will appear on Lamine Yamal, Ousmane Dembélé, Florian Wirtz, Vicky Lopez, and Trinity Rodman.
The Predator Elite Fold-Over Tongue (€280) and F50 Elite (€270) are available from January 8, 2026, at adidas.com and selected adidas retailers.
