Balenciaga presents Fall 2026 collection, Body and Being, marking a focused exploration of how clothing relates to the human form. Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli returns to the methods of Cristóbal Balenciaga, examining construction through lightness, elasticity, and a heightened awareness of the body. The collection places humanity and the hand at the center of design, translating these values into contemporary terms shaped by sports and technology.
Piccioli approaches luxury as a mental state grounded in comfort and awareness. He applies this idea across a wide range of garments that move between street formal, TechWear, sports sartorial, and evening forms, including a techno ballgown. The collection spans womenswear and introduces Piccioli’s first Balenciaga man, extending the same principles of form and movement across genders.

The Fall 2026 lookbook is photographed by Robin Galiegue in Paris. The collection unfolds across everyday settings including the street, the gym, the commute, and the home. This approach reflects a Balenciaga community grounded in lived experience. A diverse cast of actors, artists, musicians, and models appears as new faces of the house.
Menswear focuses on shaping and refinement within a modern wardrobe. Piccioli draws inspiration from garments Cristóbal Balenciaga created for himself, translating them into contemporary forms. Cashmere capes and car coats in neo gazar merge formal codes with casual use, bringing a sense of occasion into daily wear. Sportswear references sit alongside classical tailoring, forming hybrids that signal a clear new direction.

The Balenciaga woman continues to evolve while retaining her defining traits of strength and resolve. Piccioli introduces gestures associated with elegance and repositions them within daily dress. Opera gloves, cowled hats, and delicate heeled shoes appear with heightened proportion, sometimes exaggerated, and styled alongside streetwear and sports pieces. These combinations reshape familiar codes and lend a renewed sense of grace to contemporary dressing. Earlier silhouettes return in leather and sweat shirting, extending sophistication across wardrobes for all genders.
Tailored daywear, evening looks, street-driven silhouettes, and TechWear exist side by side. TechWear emerges as a new sportswear category for Balenciaga, shaped through technical innovation and the house’s modern identity. ProBody performance fabric introduces moisture control, breathability, and antibacterial properties into dynamic forms.

A collaboration with the NBA underscores the role of sport, activity, and collective energy. The partnership results in a limited capsule that aligns basketball culture with Balenciaga archetypes,.
The Le City bag appears in a streamlined shape with a defined rectilinear outline. Le 7 introduces a new top-handle design with a zippered inner layer in nappa. Crystal jewelry references archival designs, while the Midnight Eyemask reflects a current house signature. Footwear includes Comfy loafers with cushioned interiors inspired by sports shoes, flexible Ballet sneakers that fold and secure, Pocket sneakers that zip into compact form, and Jet sneakers designed with minimal weight. A Balenciaga fitness mat rounds out the offering, signaling care and bodily awareness.
Balenciaga extends Fall 2026 through focused collaborations that reinforce the season’s attention to the body.
