Willy Chavarria unveils Spring Summer 2026 under the title Spicy Pastels, presenting an editorial that signals a decisive shift for Casa Chavarria. The collection proposes a recalibrated vision of luxury defined by intention, cultural narrative, and elevated craft. Rather than leaning into spectacle, the season refines the house codes through color, tailoring, and a fully developed accessories line that expands the brand’s vocabulary.

Spicy Pastels draws its name from a softened palette filtered through Chavarria’s dramatic lens. Pastel tones arrive charged with emotional intensity, challenging conventional associations of sweetness or decorativeness. The designer reframes color as assertion. Key shades such as Chicle, Papaya, Red Hot, Bourdin Blue, Butter, Uniform Green, Concrete, and Masa create a visual dialogue that feels both nostalgic and defiant. The editorial narrative unfolds within a setting inspired by a traditional Latin family home, where saturated hues and heightened emotion evoke the theatrical cadence of a Latin soap opera.

“Spicy Pastels represents a new chapter for Casa Chavarria,” Chavarria states. “It’s about redefining luxury through honesty, embracing softness and strength at the same time. The color story feels rebellious, but also deeply personal. For me, luxury isn’t about status; it’s about intention, craftsmanship, and the courage to express who you are without compromise. This collection reflects that evolution, more refined, more expansive, but still rooted in the values that built this house.”
Tailoring anchors the collection. Entirely handmade in Italy, the suiting introduces the Chilango silhouette for men, a relaxed yet precise form with sharp finishing. For women, the Nuevo Staple blazer debuts with a cinched waist, strong shoulders, and slim sleeves, sharpening the house’s approach to structure. The garments assert discipline without losing fluidity, reinforcing the season’s tension between softness and strength.

Leather shifts position this season from outerwear accent to architectural foundation. The Bad Boy leather pants, Chuco leather blazer, Chavela leather sets and dresses, coach jackets, and trench-inspired leather dresses build a cohesive narrative around texture and silhouette. Italian mills and tanneries supply the core fabrics and leathers, while jersey, canvas, and denim produced in the United States receive custom washes that define the brand’s tactile signature.
Spring Summer 2026 also marks the first complete accessories collection for the house. Centered on the signature W motif, the offering includes bolero bags in two sizes, oversized clutches, W totes, and small leather goods. Crafted in Italy from premium leathers such as distressed luxe calf, smooth grain calf, glazed finishes, and shiny chocolate eel, the accessories solidify a comprehensive lifestyle proposition.

Select key pieces underline the breadth of the collection: the Red Hot Polo Dress, the Sad Mami Bodysuit in Black Beauty, the Her Pleasure Stiletto Bodysuit in Red Hot, and the Keep Praying Bitches Cholita Tank in Masa shape the women’s wardrobe. On the men’s side, the Corcoran Workshirt in Uniform Green, Football Polo in Bourdin Blue, Juggernaut Workwear Hoodie in Concrete, Hardcore Muscle Tee in Snow White, and Stockton Double Knee Pant in Masa define the season’s workwear-inflected elegance.
With Spicy Pastels, Willy Chavarria consolidates a new phase for Casa Chavarria. Through color reframed as resistance, tailoring sharpened through Italian craft, and accessories positioned as a defining language, the collection articulates a luxury grounded in cultural identity and collective empowerment.
