Fashion house Christian Siriano presented its Fall Winter 2026 collection, on February 12, 2026, at Chelsea Industrial during New York Fashion Week. Photographer Katie Borrazzo attended the show and documented the backstage atmosphere and runway looks exclusively for DSCENE Magazine. Her images trace the energy behind the scenes and the transformation from preparation to presentation, offering a complete view of the collection as it came to life in real time.
BACKSTAGE
The collection referenced fantasy, escapism, and surrealism. It examined the relationship between the conscious and subconscious as part of its conceptual structure. Siriano cited the dreamlike strangeness of a Dalí painting as a visual reference. The painting’s depiction of impossible imagery rendered with sensual polish informed the direction of the collection.
Sculptural silhouettes established the foundation of the lineup. Architectural shapes defined many garments presented on the runway. Structured forms appeared consistently across tailored pieces and gowns. Fluid drapes introduced variation within those shapes while preserving defined outlines. High-gloss surfaces appeared throughout the presentation and contributed to the visual composition of each look.
Texture emerged through fabric choice. Velvet and brocade introduced density and visible pattern. Luminous satin contributed sheen among the materials used. Handcrafted beading appeared on select garments and added surface detail. Artful tailoring shaped construction across multiple looks and reinforced the architectural quality described for the season.
The palette included inky black, warm neutrals, and radiant jewel tones. Dark shades anchored the lineup. Neutral tones created tonal transition between looks. Jewel tones introduced saturation within the presentation. These colors echoed luminous contrasts associated with surrealist imagery referenced for the collection.
The presentation combined sculptural construction, draped forms, surface embellishment, textured fabrics, and saturated color within a dramatic and refined direction grounded in modern glamour.
