Nike Basketball introduces the A’Two, the second signature shoe created with A’ja Wilson, alongside an expanded apparel collection developed in partnership with the athlete. The launch follows Wilson’s historic 2025 season and continues her growing presence within Nike Basketball. The new chapter in her signature line debuted in Paris during her first global tour with Nike Basketball and builds on the momentum generated by her first silhouette, the A’One.

Wilson wore the A’One throughout a remarkable 2025 campaign. During that season she became the first player to secure a Championship, Finals MVP, league MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, and the scoring title within the same year. Nike Basketball and Wilson developed the A’Two together with the brand’s design and innovation teams to support her approach to the game.

Wilson described the development of the project as a continuation of the work begun with the A’One. She explained that the earlier silhouette introduced her signature line and brought attention to her presence within basketball culture. The A’Two extends that foundation through a design that reflects her personality and perspective on the game. Wilson emphasized that she invested significant personal energy into shaping both the shoe and the broader collection.
The A’Two introduces several updates intended to support movement and control on the court. A forefoot Nike Air Zoom unit increases responsiveness during play, allowing athletes to react quickly during transitions and changes in direction. Designers included a midfoot shank to help manage torsional movement and maintain energy flow throughout the foot.

The upper introduces a molded construction inspired by Wilson’s signature pearl motif. This design aims to provide stability and lockdown control while adapting to the shape of the foot over time. A reinforced external heel counter supports strong plants and pivots during play. Nike also retained the Cushlon 3.0 midsole used in the previous silhouette. The cushioning platform supports spring during takeoffs and control during landings. A high-grip traction pattern supports lateral movement and quick cuts across the court.
An embroidered star appears at the toe of the shoe and works alongside Wilson’s signature logo placed on the tongue. These details reference her position within the sport and her role as a central figure within Nike Basketball’s athlete roster. The launch colorway, titled A’Pink Shoe, introduces a palette based on Wilson’s favorite color. The design includes iridescent finishes applied to the Swoosh, shank, heel clip, and tongue badge, creating a reflective surface that shifts across shades of pink. Future colorways will expand the visual direction established by this release.

Nike also expands Wilson’s signature apparel offering with a seven-piece collection designed for adults and children. The line translates Wilson’s personal style into performance apparel developed for both athletes and fans. Wilson described the materials used across the collection as “A’grade.”
A key garment in the collection is the A’Sym reversible single-leg tight. The design references Wilson’s distinctive DIY aesthetic and includes Dri-FIT technology alongside signature logo detailing. The collection also includes a reversible Dri-FIT long-sleeve top designed to coordinate with other items in the lineup. Nike reintroduces Wilson’s signature hoodie in an oversized unisex fit designed for adults and children. The garment includes an adjustable hem and a sateen-lined hood created to help athletes maintain their hairstyles during training and competition.

Additional pieces include Shine shorts and Court shorts designed for both performance and style. The lineup also features a cropped muscle tank with venting and an airbrushed Dri-FIT T-shirt that completes Wilson’s signature apparel look.
Wilson described the collection and the A’Two shoe as tools for connecting with the next generation of athletes. She expressed a desire to encourage young players to feel confident and proud while wearing the designs. Wilson credited the people who supported her development throughout her career and explained that the collection allows her to pass that energy forward to the athletes who follow. The Nike A’Two basketball shoe and A’ja Wilson’s second signature apparel collection will release globally on May 2 through Nike website and selected retailers.
