Vans presents Blood Moon, a film by Dolores Magazine that traces a road trip from Perpignan to Biarritz with a group of women active in skateboarding today. Helena Long, Jechu Corvalán, Vanessa Konnte, Moa Zander, Emilie Alexandre, Tania Cruz, and Adelaide Norris lead the film, each bringing a distinct presence to a collective narrative that stays grounded in movement and shared experience.

The project tracks the group across the southern coast of France, where skate sessions unfold alongside conversations and unplanned moments. The film stays close to its subjects, capturing how they move through space and how they interact with each other off the board. Filming by Blai Costa, joined by Letícia Nogueira, keeps the camera direct and responsive, following the rhythm of the trip without over-structuring it.
Skate spots shift from one location to another, yet the energy remains consistent. Each skater approaches the terrain in her own way, and the film gives space to those differences. It records technique, hesitation, risk, and progression without turning them into spectacle. The attention stays on how each rider claims space through movement and how that presence evolves across the journey.

Conversations take place between sessions, often without clear direction, reflecting how the group processes the experience together. These moments carry as much weight as the skating itself. They reveal a network built on trust, where support moves freely between individuals without hierarchy.
Photography by Raisa Abal adds another layer to the project, documenting still moments that sit alongside the film’s motion. Graphics by Léa Siffrédi introduce a graphic layer that connects the film to a broader visual identity, reinforcing its tone without overpowering the footage.
