KidSuper and Mercedes-Benz presented a new collaboration during KidSuper’s Spring Summer 2027 runway show in Miami on June 25, 2026. The presentation marked a first for Colm Dillane’s label, as KidSuper staged its main collection outside Paris during Paris Fashion Week for the first time.
The show brought together fashion, football and automotive history through a limited edition Mercedes-Benz x KidSuper capsule collection. The full SS27 lineup included 48 looks, referencing the 48 participating countries of the World Cup. Within that structure, the Mercedes-Benz collaboration focused on seven nations that have won the tournament: Brazil, Uruguay, Germany, Argentina, France, England and Spain.

Each of the seven countries received a corresponding Mercedes-Benz vehicle from the brand’s 140 year history. The pairings connected each nation’s year of victory with a car from the same period, creating a visual link between football memory and automotive design. The project placed sport and fashion inside a broader cultural story, using Dillane’s playful approach to translate national pride into clothing, accessories and runway imagery.
The capsule includes menswear tailoring, leisurewear and accessories. Each piece incorporates its country and year of victory through patches, embroidery and bespoke detailing. KidSuper’s visual language, known for color, illustration and unconventional tailoring, shaped the collection’s attitude, while Mercedes-Benz brought its archive of vehicles into the story.

The seven car and country pairings include the 220 SE for Brazil’s 1958 victory, the SSK for Uruguay’s 1928 victory, the 300 SL Coupé for Germany’s 1954 victory and the 450 SEL 6.9 for Argentina’s 1978 victory. France connects to the G 500 for 1998, England to the Grand 600 for 1966 and Spain to the SLS AMG Coupé Electric Drive Concept for 2010.
The campaign, captured by the Global Studios creative team, presents the cars alongside exclusive KidSuper pieces designed by Dillane. The imagery turns each pairing into its own story, balancing automotive heritage with the emotion of football culture. Rather than treating the collaboration as a simple logo project, KidSuper and Mercedes-Benz used the capsule to connect movement, memory and national identity.

The Miami show also expanded the collaboration beyond the runway. The presentation gathered guests from fashion, sport, music, art and entertainment, while a global livestream carried the event beyond the venue. For KidSuper, the Miami setting gave the SS27 season a new scale and placed the label’s main collection in a different cultural context.
The Mercedes-Benz x KidSuper capsule will become available in autumn 2026. Through seven handcrafted looks, the project brings together football’s most recognizable victories, Mercedes-Benz vehicles and KidSuper’s expressive menswear codes. The result frames fashion as a space where sport and design can meet through color, craft and storytelling.
