Palace x Nike England: A Closer Look at the Collection

Following the campaign reveal we featured earlier, Palace and Nike have now released the full lookbook for their England capsule, and the wardrobe spans men’s, women’s and kids. The pieces are built around the same visual language throughout: the Three Lions crest, co-branded Palace x Nike chest patches, and a palette that rotates between tonal grey, crimson red and clean white.

The collection arrives as part of Nike‘s x2 series, a format that brings together national football federations, collaborators and Social & Community Impact partners, each expressing national identity through design with a distinctly local point of view. For the England chapter, that local point of view belongs entirely to Palace Skateboards, the London-based streetwear and skateboarding brand that has spent years circling this collaboration from the outside. “It’s always been a dream of ours to work officially with England,” said Lev Tanju, Co-founder and Creative Director of Palace. “Growing up in London it’s always a massive moment when tournament football starts and everyone comes together, rooting for the same team. We’ve made a few different things in the past as an ode to the England team, so now to officially partner is a dream come true.”

The capsule also honours Football Beyond Borders, a long-term partner of both Nike and the FA. The education and social inclusion organisation uses football to support young people, and their emblem appears on special edition pre-match kits worn by the England men’s squad during tournament fixtures on June 6th and 10th.

The men’s offering leads with a crimson Dri-FIT jersey styled with black cargo pants and the Cryoshot Air Speed M on foot, the collection’s key sneaker. The red top carries the Three Lions crest alongside the co-branded Swoosh patch, keeping the chest busy in the right way. Women’s is represented by a white version of the same tee, worn oversized against wide-leg denim with a washed, sculptural finish. Both cuts share the same co-branding placement and the red tab at the hem. Kids get the tonal grey Dri-FIT Academy Pro top with infrared trim at the collar and cuffs, paired with black track pants finished with tie ankles. The Three Lions crest sits front and center, the scale adjusted but the graphic weight identical across all three.

Beyond the jersey and tees, the full range is broader than the lookbook lets on. A silver anthem zip-up jacket sits alongside a leather and wool varsity with Palace typography and an enlarged Three Lions chenille patch stitched across the back. Infrared accents carry through to the drill tops and a solo Swoosh tracksuit built on tonal grey bases. St. George’s Cross-inspired prints appear on the slim-fitting Dri-FIT soccer jerseys, while the track jacket and track pants keep things clean and minimal in lightweight woven material. Rounding out the lineup: a t-shirt, an unstructured cap and an uncuffed beanie. The Cryoshot also features in black leather as the footwear anchor.

“To me England’s identity is so intertwined with the England national football team, the two are pretty much hand in glove,” said Gareth Skewis, Co-founder and CEO of Palace. “What could be better than designing for England with Nike. It’s quintessential childhood dream stuff.”

The collection drops June 12th exclusively through palaceskateboards.com and Palace retail locations globally, with a wider release at select retailers including Nike.com on June 16th.
