An experimental fashion house BESFXXK presented Spring Summer 2019 Collection, on Sunday 17th June, during the ongoing Milan Fashion Week. Inspired by the street scene of the Eighties in New York and London, the designers Bona Kim and Jae Hyuk Lim combine specific items with diverse backgrounds and histories.
SPRING SUMMER 2019 MENSWEAR
Outfits juxtapose classic garments with a retro spirit that is strong, urban, and sporty. Materials are luxurious and comprise Japanese textiles ranging from gabardine and reflective high-tech fabrics to cotton, starched jersey and special velour textures. Track-inspired jumpers and windbreakers – often perceived as unfashionable pieces – undergo special reinterpretations and take their cue from the style of the Eighties in bright, mesmerizing colors such as neon yellow or silver. The silhouette is essential and inspired by shapes originally designed for mass production and street distribution. The color palette combines neon hues such as yellow and pink with techno silver and shades of wardrobe basics and classic UK staples. Embroidery features the BESFXXK logo. – from BESFXXK
