Lorenzo Musetti Named Brand Ambassador for Bottega Veneta

The rising tennis star joins the luxury label following his feature in the “Craft is our Language” campaign

Fashion house Bottega Veneta has announced Italian tennis player Lorenzo Musetti as its newest brand ambassador. The announcement deepens the connection between the athlete and the fashion house following his recent appearance in Bottega Veneta’s campaign “Craft is our Language,” which marked 50 years of the brand’s signature Intrecciato technique.

Musetti, born in 2002 in Carrara, Tuscany, enters the 2025 Wimbledon Championships as the seventh seed, following strong performances over the past two seasons. His run to the semifinals at both the 2024 Wimbledon Championships and the 2025 French Open has positioned him among the top names in the sport. Currently ranked No. 6 in the ATP singles rankings, he also claimed a bronze medal in singles at the 2024 Paris Olympics. His contributions to Italy’s back-to-back Davis Cup wins in 2023 and 2024 reflect his growing influence on the court.

Since emerging on the tennis scene with a victory at the 2019 Australian Open boys’ singles tournament and a runner-up finish at the US Open juniors the same year, Musetti has been recognized for his dynamic playing style and composed presence under pressure. His intuitive use of angles, variation in pace, and confident one-handed backhand have made him a distinctive figure on the ATP Tour. Off court, he has aligned with select fashion and sportswear partners, bringing his personal style to both performance gear and designer collections.

His collaboration with Bottega Veneta first became public through the “Craft is our Language” campaign, which emphasized the expressive potential of the hands – both in design and in athletic movement. In that context, Musetti reflected on the role of gesture in his own discipline, drawing a link between the precision of tennis and the precision of craft. The campaign was part of Bottega Veneta’s wider anniversary initiative, recognizing five decades of its Intrecciato construction.

Now, as ambassador, Lorenzo Musetti steps into a more visible role, linking his momentum on the court with Bottega Veneta’s ongoing focus on craft and distinct visual language.
