Diesel opens Chinese New Year 2026 with a focused Year of the Horse capsule collection. The nine-piece release translates speed, force, and constant motion into a tight selection of denim, Track Denim, T-shirts, and hoodies. Conceived by creative director Glenn Martens, the capsule relies on direct graphics and material treatments to frame the Horse as a sign of drive, individuality, and rebellion.
The capsule builds its identity around the image of an unbridled horse, rendered with flames tracing the mane and tail. Diesel applies this motif across multiple formats, ranging from graphic prints inspired by archival references to embroidery placed with precision.

T-shirts and a hoodie carry vintage-inspired graphics that combine the horse imagery with Year of the Horse markings. These pieces establish the collection’s tone through worn-in visuals that feel deliberate and direct. Denim anchors the capsule, with the men’s D-Macro jeans and women’s D-Sent jeans featuring an embroidered horse on the back pocket. Inside, pocket linings reveal red bandana-inspired micro horse prints, adding a layer of detail that remains subtle.
The Oval D Track Denim hoodie and pants arrive in deep, faded burgundy, a color choice that references the traditional red associated with Chinese New Year while aligning with Diesel’s established red codes. The finish conveys speed and change through color, texture, and surface wear.

Throughout the capsule, Diesel uses familiar materials and silhouettes to express the Horse’s associations with passion, independence, and nonconformity. Denim functions as the primary medium, supported by casual staples that keep the collection grounded and wearable.
The Year of the Horse capsule communicates speed and evolution through its graphics, embroidery, and color palette. Flames, motion-driven imagery, and red accents work together to convey a sense of urgency and progression. Diesel avoids abstraction, choosing instead to present a clear visual code that aligns the symbolism of the Horse with the brand’s long-standing emphasis on self-expression and energy. Diesel’s Chinese New Year 2026 capsule is now available at select Diesel locations worldwide and online.
