Mads Mikkelsen fronts the ZEGNA Fall Winter 2025 campaign, with the brand building its vision around Torino style, a silhouette rooted in its origins. Ermenegildo Zegna founded the house in 1910 in Trivero, northern Italy, with an ambition that went beyond producing fabrics. He wanted clothing that carried intention, dignity, and elegance in every detail. His approach redefined tailoring at the time, and it continues to inform the brand’s work today.
The story of Torino style begins in Torino, where Ermenegildo often brought his own fabrics to a personal tailor. There, his distinct approach to dress took shape. On one significant occasion, an invitation to Teatro Regio di Torino, he requested a suit crafted from Vellus Aureum, the most precious fibre he had created. That garment marked more than a moment, it established a way of dressing that set new standards. From this moment, Torino style emerged as a benchmark of refinement that would resonate through the decades.

For Fall Winter 2025, ZEGNA revisits this legacy. The Torino silhouette shows its character through structured shoulders, wide lapels, and precise construction. Jackets feature three-button sleeves, a raised buttonhole inspired by the brand’s 232 Road mark, and rounded pockets available in flap or patch versions. These elements create a recognisable identity that carries the memory of the Founder while pointing forward.
Central to the collection stands the new Vellus Aureum suit, crafted in flannel with a soft, almost weightless quality. The design follows couture-level methods: hand-finished trousers, silk linings, and the architectural attention that defines the house’s tailoring. The suit embodies ZEGNA’s approach as more than clothing, it reflects a discipline and a belief in doing things with care and precision.

To launch this collection, ZEGNA returns to Torino. Mads Mikkelsen leads the FW25 campaign photographed inside Teatro Regio di Torino and in the Alpine surroundings nearby. His presence reflects the ZEGNA man, composed, assured, and connected to something lasting. The imagery frames a distinct sense of Italianità: an elegance rooted in culture and rhythm. The campaign captures life in Torino, from its streets to the pause of a mid-morning espresso, expressing a refined yet relaxed way of living.

ZEGNA frames style as something that goes beyond appearance. It connects generations, evokes emotion, and demands exactness. The brand shows through this collection that a suit is not a uniform or a relic. It is a definition of what tailoring can achieve when discipline and imagination meet.
