Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet unveils a limited-edition capsule marking the 60th anniversary of the Grateful Dead, honoring the legendary band’s influence on music, culture, and style. The 14-piece collection reinterprets the band’s signature iconography through vivid design and meticulous tailoring, reflecting the same creative energy that has defined both the Grateful Dead and the brand itself.
“The Grateful Dead built more than a band; they built a legendary community. Sixty years later, their spirit, style, and music still resonate,” said Stacey Bendet, founder, chief executive officer, and creative director of Alice + Olivia. “This capsule is a celebration of optimism and creativity – pieces designed to make you feel unstoppable and a wearable reminder to always be grateful.”

The capsule ranges in price from $275 to $1,795 and brings together signature silhouettes with detailed embellishments. Among the standout pieces is the Clyde shift dress, cut in printed matte satin crepe and finished with the band’s iconic dancing bears. The Keri denim varsity jacket transforms a traditional silhouette with acid-wash tie-dye denim and embroidered patchwork. The Cody cropped vegan leather moto jacket features fitted lines and bold embroidered patches, while the Amazing Baggy Jean with Patches continues the theme through layered stitching and emblematic detailing.

Completing the capsule, the Tina embroidered ballgown skirt serves as a centerpiece. Crafted in sequined matte satin, the design features sweeping volume and the Grateful Dead’s signature bear embroidery, transforming concert iconography into high fashion.
The collection also introduces a series of knit and casual pieces including cardigans, sweaters, tanks, T-shirts, and button-downs, each carrying motifs that trace back to the band’s visual language.

This release marks the second collaboration between Alice + Olivia and the Grateful Dead, following a successful 2016 capsule. By revisiting the partnership nearly a decade later, Stacey Bendet continues to channel the Grateful Dead’s legacy through contemporary design, creating a wardrobe that celebrates freedom, optimism, and artistic expression.
Available now, the limited-edition collection unites two creative worlds, fashion and music, through pieces designed to inspire gratitude and confidence in equal measure.
