The Slim d’Hermès Squelette Lune explores time through the rhythm of the moon, tracing lunar cycles as seen from both Northern and Southern hemispheres. Hermès introduced the Slim d’Hermès line in 2015, pairing rigorous discipline with understated elegance through clean-cut lines and angular lugs. That architecture supports a new form of creative expression in this Squelette Lune edition, where mechanics and celestial display share equal focus.
WATCHES
A 39.5 mm-diameter case in grade 5 titanium or platinum houses the watch, with a bezel crafted in matching materials. The structure frames an airily arranged mechanical calibre that reveals its construction through an openworked dial. The titanium version features a bead-blasted case with a polished, DLC-treated anthracite bezel, while the platinum edition carries a platinum case and bezel. Anti-glare sapphire crystal protects the front and the case-back, and water resistance reaches 3 bar.

The openworked dial stages a dialogue between light and matter through negative space and finely cut components. Sunburst anthracite defines the titanium model, while sunburst blue distinguishes the platinum version. A transfer-printed white minutes track traces the perimeter, and black gold-treated baton hands mark the hours and minutes. At six o’clock, a double moon display completes the composition, presenting lunar phases for both hemispheres within a transfer-printed moon disc.
An ultra-thin skeletonised Manufacture Hermès H1953 calibre powers the hours, minutes, and moon phases. The self-winding movement uses a micro-rotor and operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour. It measures 30 mm in diameter with a thickness of 3.57 mm and delivers a 48-hour power reserve. The construction counts 178 components and 29 jewels. Through the sapphire crystal case-back, diamond-cut and bead-blasted bridges appear in tones that correspond to each dial. The titanium version carries Vert d’Eau-toned treatment, while the platinum model features blue-toned decoration.

Straps complete the watch with materials and colors aligned to each reference. The titanium edition pairs with a matt gris étain or black alligator strap, as well as black Barénia calfskin. The platinum edition arrives with matt bleu abysse or black alligator, alongside navy blue Swift calfskin. Each option reflects the House’s leather craftsmanship expertise while maintaining visual coherence with the dial.
Pricing places the Slim d’Hermès Squelette Lune Titanium with a Gris Étains matte alligator strap at $25,500. The Slim d’Hermès Squelette Lune Platinum with a Bleu Abysse matte alligator strap reaches $42,450. Through material choice, openworked construction, and a double moon display, the Slim d’Hermès Squelette Lune presents a clear, technically focused expression of lunar timekeeping within the Slim d’Hermès collection.
