
Gucci has appointed Ningning from aespa as its newest global brand ambassador. The appointment formalizes an ongoing relationship shaped through recent appearances and fashion moments tied to the house. Ningning has built her presence through performance, defined by vocal range and a strong stage identity within aespa. Her work with the group contributed to their recognition as group of the year at the Billboard Women in Music Awards in 2025.

In a statement, Ningning addressed the appointment directly. “It is a true honor and thrill to be named a Gucci global brand ambassador, a house with more than 100 years behind it,” she said. “I’ve been drawn to Gucci since I was young, and the idea that I now get to help carry the house’s style to a new generation and to people with all kinds of tastes still doesn’t quite feel real.”

That connection has already appeared across public events and editorial work. Ningning has worn Gucci on red carpets and in photo shoots, shaping each look through her own approach. She also attended the Gucci fashion show in Milan in February. As a global brand ambassador, Ningning will take part in a range of Gucci projects. The partnership places her among a wider group of figures who represent the house across different fields.
At the same time, aespa continues to move forward with new music. The group plans to release its second full-length album, Lemonade, on May 29. This follows their debut in 2020 under SM Entertainment with the digital single “Black Mamba.” The group includes Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning.
