
adidas Originals and Willy Chavarria launch Comienza Con El Sueño, a collection and campaign tied to the Selección Nacional de México and the FIFA World Cup 2026™. The release focuses on the dream that starts before football reaches its biggest stage, rooted in the streets, voices, culture, pride, and drive that shape players long before match day. Its title, which translates to “It begins with the dream,” frames the project as a tribute to origin, identity, and national pride.

The collection introduces a full range of officially accredited Selección Nacional de México World Cup merchandise. adidas Originals and Willy Chavarria first presented the FMF-badged apparel on Willy Chavarria’s Autumn Winter 2026 runway, giving the project an early fashion context before its global retail launch. The lineup includes soccer jerseys, a tracksuit, long soccer shorts, and rugby shirt silhouettes. Dual motifs take inspiration from iconic Mexico football references, connecting the garments directly to the national team’s visual history.


The apparel also looks at the culture that surrounds football. A blazer, long twill shorts, and a button-up shirt suggest the coach’s wardrobe, while soccer tees, merch tees, a crewneck, scarf, and caps speak to the stands and the rituals around the game. Chavarria’s signature embroidery, graphic touches, and the “Comienza Con El Sueño” slogan appear throughout the collection, giving the pieces a direct link to the campaign message.
Footwear adds three Willy Chavarria silhouettes to the release. The Willy Mega Low and Megaride AG XL use Megaride franchise tooling with exaggerated uppers, Chavarria branding at the tongue, and red accents throughout. The Willy Chavarria Megaride Copa brings a football-inspired shape into the footwear lineup. Together, the shoes extend the collection beyond apparel while keeping the focus on adidas design codes, Chavarria’s proportions, and Mexico football references.


The campaign features rising youth talent connected to the Selección Nacional de México. Jesús Gilberto Orozco and Jeremy Márquez appear as senior National Team standouts, while Omar Campos joins the cast after previous national team call-ups. Ariel Castro, the youngest player in the group, completes the campaign lineup. Their presence connects the release to a new generation of Mexican footballers with ambitions tied to future World Cup stages.
