Schutz introduces its Pre Fall 2026 collection with The Modern Scholar, a campaign that places the season’s footwear against the architecture of a historic university campus. Marble corridors, stone staircases, library shelves and open courtyards shape the visual direction, creating an atmosphere that draws on classic academic settings while presenting footwear designed for the transition into fall.
FOOTWEAR
The collection focuses on refined silhouettes, tactile materials and details that give familiar styles a fresh identity. Schutz continues to develop some of its most recognizable designs while introducing new shapes intended for everyday wear and occasion dressing.

At the center of the collection stands the Elodie, one of the brand’s signature styles. Schutz updates the slip on stiletto with new seasonal colors and elevated finishes before expanding the family through the Elodie Buckle, Elodie Bow, and Elodie Buckle Bow. Sculptural lines, polished hardware and bow detailing give each variation its own character while maintaining the clean proportions of the original design.

Pointed silhouettes play a major role throughout the collection. The Paola Mid arrives as a slingback with a glossy verniz finish and a mid height stiletto heel suited to day and evening wear. The Liora pushes the shape further with an elongated pointed toe and a higher stiletto profile that emphasizes its sleek proportions.

As the season progresses toward cooler weather, Schutz expands its offering with styles designed around flats and everyday dressing. The Tyche introduces a loafer inspired silhouette crafted in suede with stitched toe detailing and seasonal animal print finishes. Alongside it, the Vick Buckle and Hadley reinterpret the ballerina flat through V shaped vamps, gold buckle hardware and textured animal print materials.

The collection also revisits one of Schutz’s established sandal families. The Scarlett, Scarlett Sling Mid, and Scarlett Wedge continue the line with open pointed toes, ankle straps and specchio leather finishes across wedge and stiletto constructions.

Material selection gives the assortment much of its visual depth. Specchio patent leather appears alongside verniz finishes, suede, calf hair, heritage leather, snake textures and metallic surfaces. The color palette ranges from black, dark brown and warm toffee to sugar white, wine berry, dried olive, myrtle green, gray and platina, while metallic treatments and animal prints introduce additional contrast.
