Netflix has released the official trailer for The Gentlemen Season 2, confirming that the series will return on September 3, 2026. The streamer has also renewed the crime drama for a third season, with Guy Ritchie returning to direct.

The new season brings back Theo James as Eddie and Kaya Scodelario as Susie, one year after the pair joined forces within Bobby’s criminal empire overseas. Their partnership now faces greater pressure as they attempt to expand the operation while Bobby begins making increasingly unstable decisions.
Eddie and Susie must determine whether to intervene or risk losing everything they have built. The season continues to explore ambition, power and criminal loyalty as the action moves from English country estates to the Italian lakes.
Returning cast members include Ray Winstone, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, Jasmine Blackborow, Michael Vu, Daniel Ings, Harry Goodwins, Ruby Sear, Pearce Quigley and Giancarlo Esposito. The story will unfold across eight episodes.
Season 2 also introduces several previously announced additions. Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Michele Morrone, Sergio Castellitto, Amra Mallassi and Tyler Conti join the series, alongside British professional boxer Chris Eubank Jr and television host, broadcaster and entrepreneur Maya Jama.
The trailer points toward a larger scale for the series, expanding the story beyond England while keeping Eddie and Susie at the center of the criminal operation. Their growing ambitions create new risks as control within Bobby’s empire becomes less certain.
Netflix has also confirmed that The Gentlemen will continue into a third season. Details about the next installment remain under wraps, though Ritchie has already confirmed his involvement as director.
“The ambition of The Gentlemen has accelerated, the world has expanded and the consequences carry weight,” Ritchie said. He added that a third season felt inevitable and that he plans to continue pushing the series further.
The renewal follows the strong performance of the first season, which arrived on Netflix in March 2024. Season 1 reached the global Top 10 in more than 90 countries and claimed the No. 1 position in 75. Between 2024 and 2025, the series generated 100 million views globally.
Ritchie created The Gentlemen and writes the series with Matthew Read. He also serves as director and executive producer. Additional executive producers include Ivan Atkinson, Matthew Read, Will Gould, Simon Crawford Collins and Frith Tiplady for Moonage Pictures, alongside Jonathan Glickman and Alix Jaffe for Miramax TV.
Season 2 now places Eddie and Susie deeper inside the criminal world they entered together, with expansion creating new pressure from within. With Bobby’s judgment becoming increasingly uncertain, the pair face decisions that could reshape their position inside the empire.
