The project first attracted attention during the summer of 2026, when Wilson appeared wearing an unreleased Nike SB Air Max 95. At the time, the sneaker suggested another addition to Nike SB’s expanding footwear lineup. The newly released official images provide confirmation that the design belongs to Wilson, giving the British skateboarder his first collaborative sneaker with Nike SB.
The Kyle Wilson x Nike SB Air Max 95 features a predominantly dark upper, with varying shades of grey and black defining its layered construction. These colors establish the main visual direction, drawing attention to the familiar contours of the Air Max 95. The darker palette provides a foundation for the metallic details that distinguish Wilson’s edition.
Metallic bronze appears across the tongue and one of the shoe’s side stripes, introducing a reflective finish within the otherwise subdued design.
