Tiffany & Co. introduces Amanda Seyfried as its newest house ambassador, marking the appointment with the Holiday 2026 campaign, Love Is a Gift. As part of the campaign, the actress stars in You & Me, a short film directed by Academy Award nominee Derek Cianfrance, which explores the emotional significance of gifting through a story spanning three generations of women. Set between present-day New York and the early 1990s, the film follows a family tradition that begins with a Tiffany Blue Box.
HOLIDAY SEASON
The story opens inside an Upper East Side townhouse, where a woman discovers a Tiffany Blue Box dated December 1992 while decorating her Christmas tree. The discovery takes her back to childhood, recalling a moment with her mother that shaped her understanding of their relationship. In the memory, her mother wears jewelry from Tiffany’s HardWear collection and presents her daughter with a hand-painted Bird on a Rock ornament.
Years later, the daughter has become a mother herself. She places the same ornament on the Christmas tree with her own child, continuing a tradition that began decades earlier. Through this exchange, the film examines how familiar objects acquire personal meaning and connect different generations.
The ornament plays a central role in the production. Tiffany developed the piece exclusively for the film alongside production designer Karen Murphy, drawing inspiration from Jean Schlumberger’s Bird on a Rock design, which debuted in 1965. Other objects from Tiffany’s archives appear throughout the townhouse, including a stained-glass Wisteria table lamp by Louis Comfort Tiffany.

Cianfrance, whose previous films include Blue Valentine, The Place Beyond the Pines, The Light Between Oceans and Roofman, directs the campaign’s intimate family narrative. Creative agency American Haiku and production company Radical Media worked on the film, with cinematography by Arseni Khachaturan. A new rendition of The Wannadies’ You & Me Song accompanies the story, adding another connection to the past.
For Seyfried, the campaign represents her first official appearance as a Tiffany & Co. house ambassador. The actress recently wore the jewelry house’s designs to the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles.

“I’m thrilled to join the Tiffany & Co. family as their newest house ambassador and to be part of a campaign that celebrates love, family and the traditions we carry with us through generations,” Seyfried said. She also described the experience of bringing the story to life with Tiffany during the holiday season, expressing her connection to the film’s exploration of family memories.
Tiffany & Co. president and chief executive officer Anthony Ledru welcomed the actress, praising her style and sophistication and describing her as a natural addition to the house.
