The new Architectural School Building sits on the edge of the hilly campus with a scenic view of the Tolo Harbour. We proposed an architecture in the form of a mass pierced diagonally to preserve the view to the sky, with an “acropolis route” to continue the uphill movement from the railway station to the different elements of the School. The Void reveals the studios at the heart, conveying and enhancing the School’s ethos as studio-based, humanistic and open. Continue for more after the jump:
