The color red as a symbol of eroticism. The view of cultures on women in society. Vexation, femininity, religion, passion, violence, desire. The woman as projection screen, as a static symbol? With the wrapping she looses her personality, becomes an available object without her own desires and ideas. They are imposed on her. “The portrait of a modern woman” gives incentives and leaves the viewer alone.
