Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) returned last night for its third annual FTA 2021 Prize at the National Museum in Doha, Qatar. The ceremony was presented by supermodel Irina Shayk and Al Jazeera TV presenter Fairouz Ziane, in attendance of industry professionals.

Aiming to support emerging designers, FTA offers a financial support of $200,000 to the winners, and benefit from an extensive mentorship program with key FTA partners. This includes especial partnership with retailer MATCHESFASHION, which will be stocking all the winners exclusively, in addition to providing business mentorship.
The ceremony was attended by industry heavyweights such as Naomi Campbell, Virgil Abloh, Pierpaolo Piccioli, Catherine Deneuve, Natalia Vodianova, Precious Lee, Jordan Barrett, Waris Ahluwalia, Farida Khelfa, Joshua Jackson, Alessandro Mahmoud, Stephen Jones, Alex Israel, Alexa Chung, Azza Fahmy, Carine Roitfeld, Casey Cadwallader, Elie Saab, Francesca Amfitheatro, Gherardo Felloni, Haider Ackermann, Juergen Teller, Laura Brown, Remo Ruffini, Sandra Choi, Zuhair Murad, and Afef Jnifen.
The 24 designer finalists presented their collections to the Jury, in the following award categories: Ready-to-Wear, Eveningwear, Accessories, Jewellery, Franca Sozzani Debut Talent Award and this year’s newly introduced Guest Country Award, which was in partnership with Colombia.
