Dolce&Gabbana introduces its Holiday 2026 campaign through a cinematic story photographed and directed by Gordon von Steiner. The Italian fashion house transforms a hotel into a crimson setting filled with eveningwear, elaborate accessories and guests whose encounters suggest something mysterious beneath the festive atmosphere. Gold dresses, black tuxedos and leopard-print details establish the campaign’s visual identity, while the accompanying film gradually reveals the fictional world behind its glamorous hotel scenes.
HOLIDAY SEASON
The campaign follows several characters through the hotel’s interiors, capturing brief encounters and private moments. A woman wearing gold enters the lobby, while other guests answer telephone calls, visit the reception desk and gather for tea. Their interactions create anticipation as the film introduces a series of seemingly unrelated events.

Von Steiner uses the hotel’s red interiors to establish a theatrical atmosphere. The setting recalls classic cinema, with carefully arranged scenes, dramatic lighting and characters who appear to share an unspoken secret.
The women’s wardrobe centres on eveningwear with metallic finishes, sequins and elaborate accessories. Sculpted hairstyles and red lipstick complete the styling, drawing on the visual traditions of Italian glamour. Gold fabrics create points of brightness against the hotel’s saturated red interiors, giving the clothing a prominent role in each composition.

Menswear introduces formal tailoring through a predominantly black-and-white palette. Leopard print appears throughout the campaign’s accessories and decorative objects. A delicate tea set, watch bands, a catchall tray and throw pillows incorporate the house’s familiar animal motif into the hotel’s interior details.
Von Steiner also photographed Dolce&Gabbana’s Holiday 2025 campaign, which explored festive dressing through snow-covered settings, indoor gatherings and 1960s-inspired brocade. For 2026, the fashion house adopts a different cinematic setting, using the crimson hotel and its final behind-the-scenes reveal to give the holiday campaign a distinct visual identity.
