Miu Miu pushes forward with its Spring Summer 2025 vision by launching the Gymnasium collection, a capsule rooted in retro sports references and executed with the brand’s signature precision. The project reinterprets traditional athletic silhouettes across ready-to-wear, footwear, and accessories, channeling both school gym nostalgia and contemporary styling. The brand will support the launch through a global series of pop-up stores and the debut of its Custom Studio, which offers in-store personalization for key products.
Rather than follow typical sportswear forms, Miu Miu builds the collection around classic athletic codes, varsity shapes, gym uniforms, collegiate textures, then filters them through refined materials and sharp construction. The result moves beyond performance gear and enters a space where structure meets softness, and function meets finish.

The Gymnasium collection leans heavily into tailored sportswear. Miu Miu crafts school-style blousons from technical silk and pairs them with active knitwear, polished cotton-silk polos, and textured mohair jackets. Each piece references vintage athleticwear, but the materials push the designs into more elevated territory.
The brand stays close to a defined palette. Core pieces arrive in red, white, and navy, a familiar trio that grounds the concept, while brown and grey tones expand the lineup and bring depth to the collection. The result allows the pieces to move easily from uniform-inspired to street-ready without losing consistency.

Miu Miu doesn’t limit the Gymnasium theme to apparel. The accessories follow the same references, offering updated versions of the Arcadie and Aventure bags in leather finishes, smooth, woven, and matelassé. In addition to leather, the bags now come in canvas with track-style piping and structured forms that echo gym gear.
The collection also introduces new takes on the Pocket bag and a fresh round of Miu Miu backpacks, each shaped to suit the visual language of athleticism while still aligning with the brand’s established design logic. These bags work not just as accessories but as extensions of the main garments, carrying the collection’s textures and lines into functional daily use.

Miu Miu continues its push into sportswear through sneakers, offering familiar and new models that fit the Gymnasium frame. The Plume, Tyre, and Gymnasium sneakers return in color and texture updates, while the brand introduces the Boxeur silhouette for the first time. This new style sits comfortably within the collection, combining athletic shape with material choices that reflect Miu Miu’s control over finish and detail. Each sneaker aligns with the broader collection tone, clean lines, considered palettes, and performance-inspired shapes that remain wearable outside a training context.
To expand the connection between product and customer, Miu Miu launches the Custom Studio, a new in-store activation that allows for personalization of bags and shoes. Visitors can select laces, charms, and branded tabs to modify their pieces on the spot. This feature connects closely to the Gymnasium concept, remixing uniform standards through individual choice.

The Custom Studio first appears at the Gymnasium pop-ups and will continue in select Miu Miu stores worldwide, also extending to the brand’s online platform. It adds an interactive layer to the project, inviting shoppers to take part in the collection’s evolution.
Miu Miu supports the Gymnasium collection with a global roll-out of dedicated pop-up stores, giving the release a distinct setting and physical presence. Each space focuses on the core ideas behind the collection, connecting visual merchandising with the textures, colors, and form language of the pieces.
The brand uses the pop-ups to build momentum around the SS25 drop, while the in-store bar feature remains in place across flagship locations and online. Through this approach, Miu Miu links product design, customer experience, and personalization in a cohesive retail concept.
