To mark two decades of its Consortium program, adidas is staging a three-day exhibition at Dover Street Market Paris-2 from June 27 to 29, 2025. Curated by Sarah Andelman, the installation introduces a new project by Brooklyn-based artist Levi Pitters, known as Pitter Patter, whose work transforms everyday clothing into sculptural furniture. The installation offers a physical and conceptual reflection on the partnerships that have shaped Consortium since its launch.
At the center of the exhibition are 20 “Boot-Legs” tables created by Pitter Patter, each representing a specific Consortium partner and their favorite adidas sneaker. Each table reflects the identity of one of the collaborators, including atmos, Bait, Beams, Carnival, Casina, colette, END, Extra Butter, HAL Studios, Invincible, Limited Edt, Maha, Mita Sneakers, Naked, Offspring, Overkill, Packer, Sneaker Politics, SNS, and Solebox. The project treats furniture as a participatory archive, pairing sculpture with a sense of familiarity and humor.

Alongside the new art pieces, visitors will see a display of the original Consortium Superstar sneakers from 2005 and the latest 2025 collection. The new series draws inspiration from adidas’s F50 franchise, reinterpreting its football innovation legacy for contemporary audiences. This juxtaposition of past and present serves as a reminder of how the Consortium line continues to evolve through design and collaboration.
The installation also invites interaction. Visitors can test their luck at a claw machine offering adidas accessories and, for a lucky few, the Pharrell x Sarah Andelman Stan Smith – an extremely limited release reserved for friends and family. A hand-painted foosball table, featuring custom figurines modeled on members of the Consortium community, adds another layer of engagement. Free Frisson ice cream will be available throughout the event.

Pitter Patter, born Levi Pitters in 1997, began his Boot-Legs project in 2021 with guerrilla-style installations on New York streets. His work has gained recognition for its inventive use of found clothing and its embrace of bootleg aesthetics. Each table draws from real garments donated or sourced from the artist’s surroundings, turning personal materials into functional sculpture.
Sarah Andelman’s role as curator continues a long relationship with adidas and design culture. Known for co-founding colette in 1997, she introduced a retail model that prioritized collaboration, experimentation, and surprise. Since 2018, Andelman has operated JUST AN IDEA, a curatorial and consulting agency, and more recently launched JUST AN IDEA BOOKS to support creative publishing.

adidas Consortium began in 2005 as a platform for global collaboration across retail, fashion, and design. It has maintained a distinct identity within adidas Originals by focusing on limited editions, innovative materials, and trusted partnerships. The 20th anniversary exhibition brings that history into focus while offering a playful and participatory way to reflect on what has been built.
The event at Dover Street Market Paris-2 invites the public to explore that story – through sculpture, sneakers, and unexpected details that make adidas Consortium a singular part of the brand’s cultural output.
