Dolce&Gabbana builds its Spring Summer 2026 menswear collection, titled Pyjama Boys, around the pyjama, turning it from a private comfort into a public staple. Originally introduced on the brand’s runway in the 1990s, the pyjama returns in this collection through a polished Italian lens. Cut from lightweight cotton jacquard and patterned with vertical stripes, it walks a line between nostalgia and evolution.
This season’s pyjama doesn’t serve a single function. It drifts between casual and polished, shifting according to how it’s styled. Dolce&Gabbana positions the piece as cosmopolitan but rooted, combining classic construction with updated coordination. The approach strips away formality while holding onto a sense of precision.

The collection revolves around versatility. Layering plays a central role, with styling choices that challenge expectations without overcomplicating the look. Loose-fitting shirts drape over striped trousers, oversized jackets soften rigid tailoring, and knitwear replaces traditional outerwear. The palette ranges from beige, cream, and brown to black, navy, green, and light blue. Polka dot and leopard prints interrupt the neutrals, providing a quiet contrast.
The trousers feature pleats and generous hems, giving them space to move. Jackets and shirts echo the same ease, while leather pieces nod to 1980s proportions and shape. Each garment works both within the collection and on its own, offering men a uniform that doesn’t demand one way of being worn.

Knitwear expands the idea of comfort. Cardigans, soft and wearable, double as outerwear. Other pieces fall in line with the pyjama sets, maintaining a relaxed structure. Braided rope pieces appear throughout, handmade and visually delicate, adding texture without weight. Rather than layering for insulation, the collection layers for mood.
Materials never overwhelm the form, they move with it. Dolce&Gabbana uses fabric and construction to loosen the codes around how and when pyjamas belong outside the house.

When night arrives, the pyjama shifts again. Luminous stones and hand-embroidered crystals enter the picture, elevating striped sets without erasing their ease. These pieces maintain the silhouette but add shine, allowing them to travel from daylight into evening without the need for a full wardrobe change.
Cameo brooches and collar pins add shape to the neckline. Necklaces, featuring vivid stones, work alone or layered with rosaries. Sunglasses pick up references from past decades, but always stay close to the character of the full outfit.

Oversized Sicily totes meet smaller Vittoria shapes, shoulder-strap beauty cases, clutches, and pouch models that directly match the pyjamas.
Footwear keeps things relaxed. Sneakers lead, joined by terry cloth sandals and slides made without fur. The selection stays practical, reflecting the balance of ease and care that runs through the entire collection.
