SONGZIO and HELIOT EMIL unveil ‘DUEL,’ a striking collaboration that draws inspiration from the discipline and artistry of fencing. This partnership marks a significant moment for both brands, each known for their distinctive approach to contemporary fashion – SONGZIO for its poetic, avant-garde silhouettes, and HELIOT EMIL for its precise, engineered design philosophy.
Fall Winter 2025 Collections
Rooted in the ancient sport of fencing, ‘DUEL’ explores the nuanced interplay between opposing forces: aggression and restraint, elegance and discipline. These dualities are translated into the collection’s visual language, where sculptural layering and architectural tailoring reference the evolution of fencing uniforms – from historic protective armor to the sleek, high-tech materials of modern competition.

The collection stands as a dialogue between softness and structure. SONGZIO’s flowing, romantic shapes are sharpened by HELIOT EMIL’s technical construction, resulting in garments that feel both protective and expressive. High-performance textiles are used throughout, echoing the innovation seen in contemporary fencing gear, while the monochromatic palette and precise cuts provide a sense of control and clarity.
‘DUEL’ easily brings a strong aesthetics; and it’s a meditation on the contrasts that define both brands. The collaboration highlights the ceremonial grace of fencing, reimagined through a modern lens. Every piece is designed to perform, whether on the runway or in everyday life, while maintaining a sense of poetry and discipline.
Beautifully captured by photographer Alberto Cantu, the lookbook features Kerlual-Thak (Menace Models, Select Models Paris, YUMODELS Milan), embodying the collection’s spirit of strength and refinement.
