Francesco Scognamiglio presents the Spring Summer 2026 couture collection, titled The Resurrection, that was conceived as a spiritual narrative and an absolute creative act. The collection approaches beauty through the idea of rebirth, using material, light, and symbolism to construct a clear and deliberate visual language. Each look guides the viewer through a symbolic passage shaped by couture technique.
COUTURE COLLECTIONS
Bouillonné surfaces generate a sense of living matter, from which the image of a silvered Christ emerges as the symbolic core of the collection. This iconography reappears through embroidery and encrustation, reinforcing a recurring visual code. A baroque structure frames a long tunic in pure white chiffon, where purity and formal rigor converge through line and proportion. The garment establishes a foundation for the collection’s spiritual register, anchoring symbolism within precise construction.

Light functions as a structural element throughout the collection, flowing through sculptural garments crafted in black and white crystal. Architectural corsetry with conical cups supports these looks, presenting a vision of femininity defined by strength. The materials catch and redirect light, shaping silhouettes that rely on form and surface to convey presence.
Shades of sky blue and aqua bohemica illuminate an ethereal tulle dress, embroidered with crystals that glide across the body with a liquid effect. An oversized mint-green fur jacket shelters the look, introducing contrast through scale and texture. Here, color shifts into atmosphere and suspension, creating a visual pause within the collection’s progression.

The narrative expands into a visionary garden of flowers constructed from crystal and three-dimensional sequins. These elements rest on layers of tulle in the hues of fior di maggio, bringing dimensional depth to the garments. The sequence continues with crinoline gowns embroidered with precious stones and crystals concealed beneath layered tulle drapery. Mirrored decorative elements in crystal and silver articulate the surfaces, introducing reflection across the silhouettes.
These final looks reinterpret the archetype of the aristocratic bride, a recurring emblem within haute couture and the maison’s identity. Through material choice and construction, the garments reference tradition while remaining grounded in the present vocabulary of the house. With The Resurrection, Francesco Scognamiglio advances a symbolic vision of couture where spirituality, material presence, and a contemporary outlook coexist through disciplined design and crafted form.
