N21 Resort 2027 examines feminine and masculine codes within womenswear through direct combinations of materials, shapes and construction. Alessandro Dell’Acqua places lace, embroidery, satin, moiré, tulle, transparency and ruching beside canvas, leather, opaque fabrics and larger volumes. The collection treats these elements as equal parts of one wardrobe, using contrast to create tension across outerwear, dresses, separates and accessories.

RESORT COLLECTIONS

Dell’Acqua approaches familiar decorative techniques with a sharper purpose. Lace bands trace the bust of tops, ruches finish sweater hems and inlaid lace forms graphic patterns across skirts. These details hold their position beside stronger menswear references, including caban jackets, sailor pockets, striped shirts and leather-trimmed outerwear. The designer gives feminine elements a clear role within each look, allowing them to remain visible even when heavier fabrics and structured garments enter the styling.

Canvas caban jackets introduce a sturdy base, while printed nylon appears across anoraks and long dresses. Poplin, tulle, lace and lingerie fabrics add lighter surfaces throughout the lineup. N21 shifts between these materials without reducing either side of the collection.

Lingerie references appear through tops with lace bands positioned across the bust. N21 pairs these pieces with silk skirts and canvas cabans, creating a direct conversation between delicacy and utility. Satin moiré coats sit over linen trousers and silk tops, extending the same approach through polished surfaces and relaxed separates. Silk tulle skirts feature large-sequin embroidery and appear with masculine cotton striped shirts, giving evening materials a less formal context.

Inlaid lace defines the collection’s black and white skirts. The construction creates a faux tartan pattern, bringing a familiar menswear motif into a traditionally feminine material. Dell’Acqua combines the skirts with short faille trousers and striped polo shirts.

Heavy hand-knitted cotton sweaters provide some of the collection’s largest volumes. Their thick texture creates a strong response to chiffon caftan dresses, which introduce movement and transparency. The caftans also appear with canvas cabans finished with leather collars.

The final evening look takes the form of a polka-dot relief-print lace dress. Delicate pastel shades accompany floral prints in sky blue, white and black, bringing softer color into the closing section. The palette supports the collection’s use of lace and sheer fabrics while preserving the clear graphic quality established through stripes, faux tartan and printed nylon.

Accessories continue the focus on daily wear. N21 presents skinny high-heel clogs, slingbacks, strappy sandals with contrasting colors and ballerina flats finished with petal pompoms. Each style supports the collection’s movement between practical clothing and decorative detail.
