Adidas introduces three apparel collections for the 2026 US tennis season, drawing from key eras in the brand’s sporting and cultural history. New York, Beyond the Baseline and The Classics connect tennis, fashion and self-expression. The three lines serve everyday players and athletes competing at the highest level.
SPORTSWEAR
Each collection approaches tennis style from a different era. New York references 1990s fashion, nightlife and sport culture. Beyond the Baseline takes cues from Y2K styling and tennis park culture. The Classics returns to familiar adidas tennis designs through updated silhouettes and performance features. adidas includes CLIMACOOL technology in all three lines to wick and disperse sweat quickly, helping players stay cool and dry during play.

The 22-piece New York Collection offers apparel for men and women in white, distilled pink and maroon. Satin and lace appear beside cut-outs, oversized T-shirts and bubble skirts, giving the line a direct connection to 1990s New York City.
The CLIMACOOL Lace Crop T-Shirt and Dress Pro feature rose lace details that reference Florence Griffith Joyner. Flo Jo wore an iconic lace bodysuit and helped define an era that connected competitive sport with fashion.

adidas also equips selected New York pieces with CLIMACOOL+, its advanced cooling and moisture-management technology. The CLIMACOOL+ 3D Tank Pro and CLIMACOOL+ 3D Tennis Freelift T-Shirt Pro use raised 3D capsules inside the fabric. These capsules lift the material away from the skin, improve airflow and reduce heat build-up during play.
Alexander Zverev, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Jessica Pegula, Iva Jovic and Elina Svitolina will wear the New York Collection during America’s premier hard-court tournament. adidas will launch the line on August 1 through adidas.com and selected retailers.

Early 2000s fashion and tennis park culture inform Beyond the Baseline, which combines performance features with relaxed leisure styling. adidas looked to archival on-court pieces and adapted their design language for current athletes.
The women’s range includes baby tees and strappy dresses. The men’s selection features button tees with chest pockets and basketball-inspired mesh shorts. Draped construction and relaxed silhouettes give the garments uses beyond match play. CLIMACOOL technology supports sweat management throughout the collection and helps maintain a cool, dry feel.

The Classics completes the seasonal group with direct references to the adidas tennis archive. White color blocking meets maroon and distilled pink accents. Prominent Three Stripes details recall familiar tennis kits from the brand’s past.
The Classics Polo, Classics T-Shirt and Classics Dress use piqué fabrics, traditional collar construction, plackets, sleeve hems and the Trefoil logo. adidas combines these archival signatures with updated shapes that work for court use and everyday dressing.

Annette Steingass, Senior Director for Tennis at adidas, explains that tennis continues to influence fashion, culture and community. She says the three collections revisit influential tennis eras and give athletes the performance features they expect from adidas. She also identifies the energy of 1990s New York, the influence of tennis parks and community participation as key sources for the seasonal offering.
