London’s streets were filled with layered textures and experimental silhouettes on Day 2 of Spring Summer 2026 Fashion Week. Captured exclusively for DSCENE Magazine by fashion photographer Macky Mann, the street style delivered oversized coats, flashes of color, and layered textures that drew as much attention as the collections inside.
Coats dominated the day in multiple forms. Long black and grey overcoats carried structure, while checks introduced pattern into an otherwise dark palette. Quilted jackets and puffers added volume, some cropped to exaggerate proportion, while leather jackets and oversized blazers gave tailoring a new edge.

Skirts anchored many outfits. Mini lengths paired with knee-high boots or platforms created a direct, confident line, while floor-length quilted or layered skirts shifted silhouettes toward drama. Wide-legged trousers balanced cropped outerwear, and tailored cuts showed up styled with casual hoodies or knits for contrast. Color gave depth. Black and grey grounded most ensembles, but flashes of red, lilac, chartreuse, and burgundy cut into the darker base.
Accessories amplified the looks. Sheer black veils layered over tailoring introduced theatrical detail. Tinted sunglasses framed faces in angular and oversized shapes. Gloves, leather and satin, punctuated outfits, while bags ranged from quilted minis to metallic cross-bodies with sharp edges. A plush toy carried like a handbag broke the mood with playful irreverence.

Footwear added weight to every look. Chunky platform boots moved beside sleek kitten heels, while sneakers paired with skirts. Knee-high boots reinforced the prevalence of minis, underscoring how shoes defined the balance of each outfit.
The overall mood of Day 2 leaned into experimentation with proportion and detail. London’s guests treated the street as an open space for play, mixing formal tailoring with casual layers, heightening classics with veils or gloves, and letting color interrupt monochrome foundations. Through Macky Mann’s lens, the day felt eclectic, confident, and alive in its variety.
