Max Verstappen received the trophy for his win at the FORMULA 1 LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2025, where the trophy was displayed in a Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk during the main moments of the event. Louis Vuitton brought the custom trunk to the Grand Prix during a week that placed the House at the center of global racing culture. The season counted this as the 22nd race and the 23rd trunk produced under the ongoing partnership between Louis Vuitton and Formula 1.
The piece appeared on the starting grid, during the national anthem, and on the podium during Verstappen’s ceremony. Louis Vuitton also revealed a refreshed graphic signature across the circuit, using a logo treatment developed for this partnership.

Louis Vuitton extended its long-running message that “Victory Travels in Vuitton,” a phrase rooted in decades of producing trunks for major competitions. The Maison has handled significant sporting items throughout its history. Each trunk built for these moments supports trophies from events such as the FIFA World Cup, League of Legends, Davis Cup, Roland Garros, NBA, Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco, Rugby World Cup, Ballon d’Or, Olympic & Paralympic Games Paris 2024, and Australian Open.
During the Las Vegas race week, Louis Vuitton emphasized the character of the city. The event took shape across the Strip from November 20th to 22nd. The Grand Prix marked the 75th anniversary of Formula 1, and the House aligned the trunk with this milestone. The graphic logo used across the track projected velocity through lines and color, creating a visual signature that aligned with the city’s nighttime energy.

Louis Vuitton and Formula 1 advanced their partnership during this Grand Prix through a unified approach. Both sides continue to push their fields through innovation and ambition. The Trophy Trunk for the event features the House’s Monogram, along with the V that references “Victory” and “Vuitton.” The black and white Damier recalls the finish line motif associated with the sport.
Louis Vuitton produced the trunk at the Asnières workshop, the historic site founded by the Vuitton family. Georges Vuitton developed the first modern trunks there in 1897, anticipating the growth of travel and automotive movement. His focus resulted in pieces built for durability and transport. Two artisans handle each trunk today, applying established methods that continue within the House.
