Exhibitors reported immediate sales and steady demand throughout the week. Amanda Coulson of TERN described repeated rehangs of her booth within the first three days. Mine Yanyali of Carl Freedman Gallery reported placements of works by Laura Footes, Billy Childish, and Vanessa Raw into established collections. Jennifer Carvalho of CARVALHO described rapid sales during the VIP Preview, with nearly all works by the gallery’s four featured female artists placed early, many with collectors new to the gallery.

Collector engagement extended beyond early previews. Mera Rubell emphasized her continued interest in the fair, citing the dynamic range of work encountered each year. Patricia Hanna, Art Director of Jorge Pérez’s Related Group and El Espacio 23, pointed to the fair’s ability to bring together projects from Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia, Africa, and other regions, reinforcing Miami’s role within contemporary art discourse.
Under the leadership of Founder Jeffrey Lawson and Executive Director Clara Andrade Pereira, the 2025 edition introduced an expanded curatorial framework. Guest curators Allison Glenn, Petra Cortright, and Jonny Tanna shaped a program that included Special Projects, a reworked Nest sector, a new Artist Spotlight section, new Non-Profit initiatives, and a broad slate of on- and off-site programming. The schedule included performances, panel discussions, and live recordings connected to the Untitled Art Podcast.

Sales activity reflected strength across multiple price levels. Sold-out booths included Miro Presents, CARVALHO, Spencer Brownstone Gallery, SGR Galería, HAIR+NAILS, Stems Gallery, Vigo, Rajiv Menon Contemporary, LBF Contemporary, Cierra Britton Gallery, Bolanle Contemporary, Sears-Peyton Gallery, Wishbone, Wilder Gallery, and Anna Erickson Presents. Several additional galleries reported near sell-outs, often within the opening hours.
Six-figure totals appeared across the fair. Reported booth figures included Galerie Forsblom at $187,000, MARC STRAUS exceeding $500,000, Carl Freedman Gallery at $178,000, HEXTON Gallery at $155,000, Danziger Gallery at $120,000, PIERMARQ* at $210,000, Sundaram Tagore Gallery above $200,000, and WIZARD GALLERY at $144,000. The mid-market between $20,000 and $80,000 showed consistent activity, with museum and foundation acquisitions from galleries such as Yancey Richardson, Neon Parc, JECZA, CURRO, Hollis Taggart Downtown, Fridman Gallery, Adrian Sutton Gallery, Yiwei Gallery, Marshall Gallery, Galerie Nicolas Robert, Heft, ORA, and SAENGER Galería, which placed all twelve works by Sebastián Hidalgo at $50,000 each.

Institutional acquisitions formed a significant part of the week. The Walker Art Center and AMOCA Wales made headline purchases, joining placements into U.S. and international museum collections and private foundations, including the Jorge M. Pérez Collection and El Espacio 23. For several galleries, these transactions marked first-time institutional relationships initiated directly at the fair.
The fair also introduced a strategic partnership with The Agency Art House, led by Mauricio Umansky and Arushi Kapoor. An advisor-led walkthrough program guided collectors through key presentations and acquisition strategies. The initiative resulted in more than $500,000 in sales, spanning four-figure purchases through six-figure transactions and involving both new and established collectors.
Attendance included collectors, museum directors, and institutional representatives from the United States and abroad. Prior to the VIP and Press Preview, the fair welcomed Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner and John Copeland of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau for opening remarks. Patrons present during the week included Mera, Don, and Jason Rubell, Beth Rudin DeWoody, Jorge and Darlene Pérez, Susan and Michael Hort, Reggie and Leigh Smith, Sheryl Adkins-Green, Yvonne Force Villareal, Hassan Smith, Conrad Woody, Daphna and Ariel Bentata, John Marquez, and Dennis Scholl.

Curatorial attendance remained strong, with figures such as Mary Ceruti of the Walker Art Center, Aaron Cezar of the Delfina Foundation, Kim Conaty of The Whitney Museum of American Art, Silvia Karman Cubiñá of the Bass Museum, José Carlos Diaz of Pérez Art Museum, Vivian Li of the Dallas Museum of Art, Brooke Minto of The Columbus Museum of Art, Hans Ulrich Obrist of Serpentine Galleries, and Jeffrey Uslip, Curator of the United States Pavilion for the 61st International Art Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia 2026.
Curated sectors played a key role in shaping the fair. Allison Glenn curated the Special Projects sector, presenting eighteen site-specific installations exploring water as material and metaphor. Artists included Tiff Massey, Leonel Vásquez, Cameron Harvey, Celeste, Cristina Molina, and Kite (Oglála Lakȟóta), with several digital works presented through Orange Barrel Media’s IKE Smart City Platform. The Nest sector, curated by Jonny Tanna, supported emerging galleries and experimental practices, while the Artist Spotlight section, curated by Petra Cortright, presented focused solo projects engaging digital culture and outsider art.
