Howl Expands Saint Laurent Eyewear With Oversized Frames

Saint Laurent introduces HOWL, a new eyewear line first presented with the Men’s Summer 26 collection and later shown on the Women Summer 26 runway alongside the Women Spring 26 collection. The project arrives under the art direction of Anthony Vaccarello, with a film directed by Glen Luchford and starring model Agel Akol. HOWL expands Saint Laurent’s eyewear offering through frames that emphasize strong volume and a pronounced plumped effect.

EYEWEAR

Vaccarello defines HOWL through sculptural form and contemporary precision, with exaggerated proportions and smooth surfaces shaping each frame. The plumped construction creates a distinct visual weight that sets the collection apart within Saint Laurent’s eyewear portfolio.

HOWL launches with two silhouettes that establish the foundation of the line. The first design, SL 901, presents an oversized rectangular frame defined by its large scale and strong horizontal line. The proportions create a confident visual structure while maintaining the smooth, plumped construction that characterizes the entire collection.

The second silhouette, SL 902, adopts an oversized pilot shape. The design references the familiar pilot structure while expanding the scale and surface treatment in line with the collection’s visual direction. Like the SL 901, the SL 902 features glossy surfaces and the plumped construction that defines HOWL. The temples carry the Maison’s vintage logo, which introduces a recognizable Saint Laurent detail within the contemporary eyewear design.

Saint Laurent offers the HOWL line in an extensive color palette that extends the visual possibilities of the frames. The range includes deep black and rich brown tones that anchor the collection in classic eyewear colors. The palette also expands into transparent variations that include beige, cognac, khaki, yellow, red, and nicotine-toned options.

HOWL establishes a clear identity within Saint Laurent eyewear through oversized proportions, sculptural surfaces, and its signature plumped construction.
