Billionaire Boys Club and JOOPITER stage a multi-day sneaker pop-up in New York City, beginning with a private preview on April 9, 2026, from 6-9 PM at the Billionaire Boys Club flagship. The event opens to the public from April 10 through April 13. Pharrell Williams and NIGO founded Billionaire Boys Club, and this partnership with JOOPITER brings together two platforms grounded in collecting, design, and cultural production.
SNEAKERS
The preview introduces over 50 rare sneakers, each available for purchase through JOOPITER Marketplace. Prices range from $1,000 to $100,000. The selection includes Nike, Puma, and Adidas, alongside archival models, rare collaborations, and artist-driven works. The offering traces key developments in sneaker culture tied to sport, fashion, music, and art.

A dedicated installation features a Louis Vuitton Monogram Taigarama Sneaker Trunk priced at $130,000. Louis Vuitton released the trunk in December 2019 at Atelier Louis Vuitton Miami during Design Miami, with an original retail price of $200,000 before tax and shipping. The design uses Taiga leather with Monogram canvas, leather handles, and palladium-brass trim. Its vertical opening reveals fourteen sneaker compartments, eight designed for high-tops up to size 12 and six for low-tops up to size 13. The interior includes seven accessory drawers, two retractable mirrors, transparent Monogram doors, and a lock with key. The trunk measures 34.7 x 57.4 x 23 inches.

The selection includes a Nike Air Jordan 1 High ‘Royal’ Salesman Sample from 1985, priced at $15,000. Produced at the Tong Yang Rubber factory and marked 850810-TYSS, the pair connects directly to early Air Jordan development and sales processes. The black and royal blue colorway reflects one of the model’s most recognized releases. A Nike Air Jordan 1 OG Chicago from 1985 appears at $5,000, produced at the BY factory between August and October 1985, with internal printed specifications and original white laces.

The Nike x Off-White Air Jordan 1 High ‘Chicago’ from The Ten, signed and inscribed by Virgil Abloh, carries a price of $23,000. The design introduces exposed construction, quotation-mark branding, and industrial detailing that reshaped the relationship between luxury fashion and sneaker design. The Nike Air Mag from 2011, priced at $21,000, connects to Back to the Future Part II from 1989. Nike released 1,500 pairs at auction to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation. This size 13 example includes light-up panels powered by a rechargeable battery and a power adapter.

A Nike Dunk Low SB ‘Freddy Kruger’ Prototype from 2007 appears at $37,000. Nike created the pair for a canceled release inspired by A Nightmare on Elm Street. The design features red and green striped uppers based on Freddy Krueger’s sweater, blood-splatter overlays, chrome Swooshes referencing the character’s glove, and insoles that reflect scarred skin. The pair carries sample code 999999999, style number 313170-301, and the Taupe/Chrome colorway. Nike halted the project due to legal complications and ordered the destruction of most pairs. This example remains unworn, with only a small gash on the medial chrome Swoosh of the left shoe.

The presentation also includes a display of sculptural sneaker works by Freehand Profit. Billionaire Boys Club and JOOPITER structure the pop-up around direct access to collectible footwear, with a retail format that brings together rare objects, archival references, and current market demand.
