Spring/Summer 2012 collection is a continuation of formal search in the field of opposition within simple-complex, fragmentary-consistent, noble-violated. The artistic tension is built on contrasts of textures, directions and scale while reducing color range.
The idea of collection refers to the empty set – a mathematical concept; set of a zero value: neutral, non-positive and non-negative. This particular feature allows to create metaphorical references to the area of human sexuality. The blurring of boundaries between conventional approach to gender as well as devaluation of the man's tertiary sexual characteristics determine the empty set of all actions and stylistic investigations that may be recognized within already existing Nenukko's collections. The imperative of sex universality is an aesthetic foundation and a subset of the artistic research which forms the final visual and ideological value of both this and previous Nenukko's collections.
