Discover Dondup‘s Fall Winter 2019.20 Bang Bang Collection inspired by Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby novel and its film adaptation, and it explores the 1920s and the historical influences of it’s bold music, parties and cocktail dresses, presented on Friday February 22nd during the recently finished Milan Fashion Week. The face of the collection is model, actress, philanthropist and film director Elisa Sednaoui, captured for the lookbook by fashion photographer Alessandro Treves.
“And so, here is Dondup’s collection: essential maxi slip dresses in printed silk, micro dresses in red sequins paired with oversized pied-de-poule coats, shirts and blazers with lurex embroidery, sequins and appliqués that recall mystical zodiac and Kabbalah themes. The classic men’s dinner suit is also reinterpreted this season as a three-piece suit: blazer, overcoat and trousers – a mix of tailored details and feminine shapes. Meanwhile denim, which always stands out for its creative flair and originality – is made of blue, bi-stretch black-on-black and bull denim fabrics with distinctive appliqué patches, embroidery and embellishments to add a touch of party glam.Colours: red, black, white, gold and silver.“
